Horses have always been an integral part of our family life. Vacations were generally planned around horse shows, futurities and sales. The girls were members of the horse focused 4-H group and not only learned but lived the motto "Horsemanship and Sportsmanship go hand-in-hand"

Following is a selection of pictures that are near and dear to us that we thought we'd like to share. Nothing like seeing old pictures to bring back good memories.
A true family affair; (left to right) Mom - Sheryl, daughter Jolene, daughter Jessica, and finally grandson (Jolene's son) Dylan.
Like mother, like daughters...Sheryl (above) as Boots & Saddles Queen, Jolene (top left) ND State Horse Show Association Queen & ND Paint Horse Queen and Jessica (left) First Runner Up ND State Horse Show Association Princess.
Over 2,500 entered the 1989 All-Horse parade in Devils Lake celebrating North Dakota's 100th Centennial. Jessica (left) was a NDSHSA Princess Contestant while Jolene (right) was the 1989 NDSHSA Queen.
Sheryl "back in the day" on her gelding , and Jessica and Jolene with their mare "Red" aka Stormy. Judging by the looks of the smiles on all 3 faces; it is evident they all had a good day showing.
There's more to life than showing. Here some of our show horses  give rides to visiting relatives. Nothing is more important than family and we are very grateful for our family's support and love.
